When a new “Home Executive” first picks up the planner, their first question is usually, “What are the blank spaces at the top of the pages for?” The nice thing about the Home Executive Day Planner is it is customizable to YOUR LIFE. There are FIVE columns at the top of each week to divide organizing your schedules however works best for you.
We are all different, with different demands on our days. Some of you are in school, some are single, some are married with no children, and some of you have large families. Some of you are empty-nesters, and some stay at home while others have full or part-time jobs. Some of you volunteer in your community or at your church, and some do homeschooling. Below are some examples of how you could categorize your weekly columns.
This week she has the Husband, Wife, and Kids on the left. On the right side she uses the columns to keep track of “other plans.” I love how she used her stickers for their Cape Cod vacation! So fun!!
This week has a basic His, Her’s, and Kids’ columns. Then on the right she has made a column for the things she has to do for her church and around the house.
In this image they have divided up their week into Morning, Afternoon, and Evening. Then, on the right side she has a running “To Do” list for the week and her cleaning schedule.
Here is a close-up of the right side with the “To-Do’s” and cleaning columns.
Here she has made a column for each of her kids on the left. On the right she has a column for her work and her home. Looks like they are having yummy dinners this week too!
I hope those ideas help you figure out what will work best for you. I also hope they help you see how versatile The Home Executive Day Planner is, that it can work for anyone! 🙂
A big “Thanks” Amy Faustino for taking pictures of how you use your planner!
